Personal Projects: Game Development

I’ve worked on multiple games, both released and unreleased, as a designer, animator, and co-developer. 

Psyon:

Fully released, Android. A unique blend of puzzle game and visual novel, Psyon tells a story of millennial angst and the gig economy. Plus, puzzles! 

Designed all characters and backgrounds; designed all UI; wrote the story mode; co-designed the puzzle mechanics.

Summoning School:

Unreleased, UX Developed, PC. A spin on the Panel de Pon (Tetris Attack, Pokémon Puzzle League, etc.) formula, focused on the frantic five seconds in which players can string together massive combos. Gameplay prototype available on request.

Designed and animated all characters; designed UI; co-designed gameplay.

Delimpery:

Unreleased, Vertical Sliced, Android. An attempt at a “Strand-type” roguelike game, co-mingling moral choices in random encounters with the puzzle of route planning. Vertical slice APK can be provided upon request.

Designed all characters; created all art assets; designed all UI; wrote encounters; designed game mechanics.
